Three things you can't live without; Shoes, Guys, Food. This week on Shoes Guys Food:

The show features fashion from AKIRA Chicago and proceeds went to Imerman Angels. Sure there was a 5 minute runway walk, models galore, sassy fashion and 2000 people in attendance but the hottest item of the night was the shoe. Seriously, shoe watching was more fun than people watching. I mean the shoes on the spectators, not the models! Everyone was sporting simply fashionable footwear from boots to pumps and feathers to sparkles, shoes where the obvious star at this event. My favorite footwear of the night was this super stacked double platform pump by Rachel Zoe. Not a big fan of her show but I am a big fan of her shoe collection. The girl knows what she’s talking about when it comes to designing shoes. I saw a few of these walking around on the feet of fashion seekers…

GUYS: The event profits all went to Imerman Angels who is lead by two time cancer survivor Jonny Imerman. Jonny Imerman was at the event spreading his kind and gentle spirit. After beating testicular cancer at age 26 and being re-diagnosed at age 28, Jonny Imerman wanted to give back. He spent countless hours at the cancer center in Annapolis, Michigan giving advice and listening to cancer patients going through exactly what he did. Jonny thought every cancer patient could use an angel to be with them through their battle and started Imerman Angels a one-on-one cancer support network connecting cancer survivors with cancer fighter, survivors and caregivers. Imerman Angels matches a person touched by cancer with someone who has fought and survived the same type of cancer. The service is absolutely free and helps anyone touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world. Walking into the world headquarters of Imerman Angels you feel as though you are standing in the center of a beating heart. The people in the office are cancer survivors, they are gentle, kind and caring. Jonny Imerman is stacking up a network of survivors to be angels for those battling the disease. He is passionate about spreading the word and helping others and he is a beacon of hope.

And no, its not fat free, it’s a guilty pleasure sort of like shoe shopping.

Ingredients:

9 graham crackers

2 TBLS melted butter

1 1/2 cups strawberry ice cream, softened

1/2 Health Bar broken into small pieces

1 1/2 cups mint ice cream, softened

1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies

1 1/2 cups Chocolate ice cream, softened

4 Strawberries halved

Preparation:

Combine crackers and butter in a food processor. Press mixture into a 9-inch deep-dish pie pan to form crust. Chill in freezer for 20 minutes. Remove; spread strawberry ice cream over crust. Sprinkle Health bar on top. Freeze until firm. Remove. Spread layer of mint ice cream over Health and strawberry layer, sprinkle one cup of Oreos on top. Freeze until firm. Remove. Spread layer of chocolate ice cream on top of mint ice cream and Oreos; freeze until firm. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup Oreos on top. Garnish with fresh sliced strawberries.
